If you watch KBS Music Bank regularly, you must know Hyun Woo who host that show since last year.
Besides his MC work , Hyun Woo is a singer of Kpop group 24/7 and already starred in several dramas such as Dream (2009), Pasta (2010), KBS Drama Special Hair Show (2011) and the latest, he plays cute curious scholar Sung Sam Moon in SBS saeguk Tree With Deep Roots.
And now, Hyun Woo confirmed to join upcoming cable channel JTBC's daily sitcom drama titled 'I Live in Chungdamdong'.
This sitcom featured award winning senior actress Kim Hye Ja (movie Mother), Lee Sang Yeop, Yoo Da In, Oh Ji Eun and Hwang Jung Min.
Chungdamdong is a real place in South Korea, a trendy , hip and posh area where the riches live, just like Beverly Hills in California.
This sitcom tells story of Kim Hye Ja , a mother who had lived in a poor area for 60 years and now she's moving to Chungdamdong with hope for a luxurious life there. But, it's only a small two storey house waiting for her.
She then opens a comic shop in the first floor and a home-stay in the second floor of her house.
The sitcom will entangle the relationship of Hye Ja's family, the home-stay's guests and the visitor of her comic shop.
Hyun Woo will take role of a jobless young man who often visits Hye Ja's comic store. He dreams to be a musician but falls in a triangle love with Hye Ja's daughter (played by Oh Ji Eun) and a rich boy born in Chungdamdong (played by Lee Sang Yeop of Miss Ripley, Midas).
With Kim Hye Ja we can expect great acting, combines with cute Hyun Woo plus the curiosity of the first sitcom produced by cable channel JTBC, then 'I Live in Cungdamdong' definitely a must watch series.Source: Newsen
