Korean idol group 2PM stormed to the top of Gaon's singles chart to claim the title as the most popular single for the week of April 18 to 24 with their new track "Without U."

According to Gaon's singles chart on Thursday, 2PM scored their first win with their new tune knocking out Lee Hyori from first place.

The boys are currently enjoying their return to the local music scene with their latest song, taking over several online and offline music charts including Monkey 3, Dosirak and Mnet.

"Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" by songstress Lee Hyori fell down a notch from the previous week to rank in second and recently released song "Scatter" by trio Monday Kiz successfully bowed into the chart at No .3.

Meanwhile, 2PM's third single album "Don't Stop Can't Stop," which went on sale last Monday, was crowned the best-selling album for the fourth week of April.

Girls' Generation's first album "Into the New World" made an astonishing 92-spot jump to No. 2, followed sequentially by Kara's second mini-album "Honey Special Edition" which dropped a slot from last week.
